Garry Myatt joins new STC Industry Advisory Group cohort

Silverstone Technology Cluster (STC) has just announced that its second Industry Advisory Group (IAG) cohort has been officially brought into the fold.

The STC is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2016 to help advanced engineering, electronics and software businesses in Silverstone and the surrounding areas. The organisation aims to promote and support its members and offer thought leadership, events, seminars and networking opportunities via specialist interest groups.

STC is also a close collaborator with PP Control & Automation and a member of the PP+ Growth Module Partner network.

During a February advisory group kick-off meeting, an agenda for the next two-year term was discussed. Kieron Salter, Chief Executive Officer at KW Special Projects Ltd (KWSP) continues in his role as chair, whilst a warm welcome was offered to four new members.

PP Control & Automation’s very own Sales Director, Garry Myatt joins Chris Horton, Managing Director at Performance Projects, Neil Morgan, Managing Director at GoodFabs, and Richard Rydon, Managing Director at Partner Electronics.

The advisory group will mainly be consulted by the STC board to ensure that the cluster’s actions are always in the best interests of its membership and the businesses within it.

Pim van Baarsen, CEO of STC enjoyed attending the productive kick-off meeting and expressed his excitement for the new term:

“The purpose of the IAG is to give a voice to our members and the wider cluster. The group advises the STC board and helps to ensure that whatever the STC does is always in the service of the membership and the companies in the cluster.

“We’re really looking forward to even more engagement with the IAG by all our members during this new term.”

Each new advisor in the cohort will serve a 2-year term and attend 12 meetings.
