After the success of our last Smart Machines for the Future seminar, we are pleased to announce that we are running a brand new seminar featuring talks from B&R, Comau, Eplan, Lutze and PP Control & Automation.
Enjoy a day of exciting talks which focus on the cutting edge of manufacturing processes including; Industry 4.0, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT), Robotics, Virtual Reality and more!
B&R has been at the forefront of the Industry 4.0/Smart Factory movement since its inception. We will discuss the strategies and opportunities this provides machine manufacturers and also discuss how we have been applying these techniques in our own manufacturing site in Austria for the last 20 years.
We will be showcasing our new concept from B&R, which allows existing machines to be upgraded to provide the benefits of interconnectivity with minimum modification
With product customisation increasing across all industries in recent years, Consumers have grown to expect nearly every individual wish to be met – all the way down to batch size 1. This trend directly impacts the machines used to manufacture these products. We will also be highlighting the importance of Scalability+, and how machine builders can substantially reduce the amount of engineering work involved.
Comau Robotics is a leading supplier of industrial robots, robotized processes and integrated robotic solutions. As Industry 4.0 continues to evolve, Human-Robot Collaboration (HRC) and virtual commissioning, have become two key aspects of improving manufacturing productivity. Comau will introduce HRC concepts and also how, in combination with B&R, openROBOTICS will change the way HRC is implemented in high-payload applications.
You will also have the opportunity to experience first-hand a real application of Virtual Reality technology that will immerse you in a real application of the technology.
We will be demonstrating one of our smaller robots and discussing how they can be integrated into a wide variety of complex applications.
The Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) concept relies on the ability of devices to send more information regarding the application than ever before, and the importance of reliable power circuits is a must in supporting this concept.
Lutze demonstrate the Solutions that enable this.
EPLAN opening new ways to efficient engineering processes, and significantly reducing engineering efforts and project design time.
“Strategic Outsourcing” measurable business benefits for Machine Builders.
The exhibition will be taking place at PP Control & Automation on May 4th 2017:
